Vlog by Jules: see below.

=====

By me:

We wake up at 8:15am.

We leave the house around 10am.

We put the car in a parking at the eastern end of the Golden Gate Park, for the whole day.

Today, we visit another part of the city, on foot.

We walk Haight Street, the centre of the ‘flower power’ movement.

We then walk Hayes Street, to Alamo Square Park from where we have a nice view of the city. We have our picnic lunch (sandwiches) in the park, just in front of the Painted Ladies.

We continue on Hayes Street. We go inside the b8ta shop where they always have nice tech gadgets on display. Ludivine takes an ice cream at Salt & Straw, while Jules, Florence and I take one at Smitten Ice Cream (nice texture).

We walk a bit on Gough street and on Linden Street, to Patricia’s Green (small urban park), in Hayes Valley. Nice district. We walk to a poke bar (I’a Poke), just to see it. Jules took his scooter today. It’s a good purchase: he complains much less about his feet…

I take a Uber with the kids to the Two Concrete Slides at Seward Mini Park (Isabelle goes there with Jules’s scooter). Quite unusual slides, in concrete.

We then walk to the Mission district. We see the mural of the Women’s Building, and then the murals of Clarion Alley (Street Art); rather disappointing.

We walk to Balmy Alley, via Valencia Street and 24th Street; nice. The alley is full of murals.

We take a Uber back to the parking where Isabelle joins us with Jules’ scooter.

We walked more than 14km today.

We go back to the Airnbn. I worked until 1:30am.
