We wake up around 8am.
Breakfast and a short work session on our laptops.
We leave the apartment around 11:30am.
I booked a cruise with Architecture Chicago at 12:30pm. We take a bike to the pier. We arrive just on time (it takes some time to return the bikes).
Very nice cruise, interesting, with a very good guide, and with beautiful weather.
Lunch at High Tide Poke.
We go by bike (in the streets of the city center) to the Museum of Contemporary Photography. Small and disappointing.
We walk along the Millennium Park (with the crowd for Lollapalooza). We go to see The Bean and the Pritkzer Pavilion.
We then go to the Chicago Cultural Center. There’s a mural by Keith Haring.
We walk to the Museum of Contemporary Art. Luckily there’s an exhibit about Calder and Koons.
We take a bike to go back home, passing through the nice (chic) Gold Coast district.
We eat pasta at home; it has been a while.
We go to bed early but I stay on my phone until midnight.
