We wake up at 6:30am.
We leave at 8am after packing our bags. We already leave Las Vegas. It was (too) short. We all enjoyed ourselves very much. It’s a great city with so much exciting entertainment. The difference between the day and the night is striking.
We drive to the Valley of Fire. Impressive lanscapes with red stones.
We arrive in the Arizona State. Jules says ”oh, Arizona is also a state, not only a compound…” (we lived in Arizona Compound in Riyadh).
After Arizona, we arrive in Utah. We lose one hour.
We eat our lunch in the car (while driving): bread with avocados and tomatoes. Not the easiest food to eat in a car…
We arrive in Zion NP around 2:30pm. We take the shuttle to the starting point of the Narrows hike. It’s a very narrow (and high) canyon. We walk with our feet in the water.
We come back to the Visitors Centre (by shuttle) at 6pm.
We then drive (1h30) to Kanab, where we sleep tonight (Parry Lodge). We go to the swimming pool; it feels good.
We go and eat to the nearby Wild Thyme Cafe (by car because it’s raining heavily). Nice dinner.
We come back around 9:30pm in the hotel. Everybody is in bed by 10pm. I work until midnight.
